: SpinRite loads from a bootable CDusing EasyDOS and I need to find the Austoexec.bat/config.sys files to load USB drivers for my external drive. SR won't give me a DOS window. Anyone know where to find or put these files so SR will "see" my external USB drive. SR support said check the Internet. I'm running Win7 on a laptop.

The autoexec.bat and config.sys "programs" are regular text files. You can use a simple word processing program like notepad to read and alter them. You can use Windows to copy them to your USB drive. Upon startup, Windows looks for those two files and acts the instructions in them.
