LOADFIX [d:][path]filename [parameters]

Tells DOS to load the specified program into the first 64K of
conventional

command
to ensure that the program you are trying to run is loaded above the
first 64K
of conventional memory.
Example
To load a program named LETTER1 (in the LETTERS directory on drive C)
enter:
loadfix c:\letter1
